I'm honored to have this special opportunity to connect with your loved ones. During our evening we’ll be giving your departed loved ones the time and space to share their loving stories and messages with those who attend. Below are a few things to keep in mind and help you prepare for our time all together.

-Our time together will be hosted online with the virtual program ZOOM.

-Find a location where you can be free from distraction and make sure you have strong internet/online connectivity.

-Come at least 10mins early so you can check in and get yourself comfortable. That way we can start right on time.

-You might find it helpful to bring your journal and a pen with you to help you recall your experience later on as these events will not be recorded.

-Our time together is not intended to, nor should it ever, take the place of any medical, legal, financial, traditional psychological, or other professional advice and you should always seek the appropriate professional advice.

-Before we meet altogether, take a moment to become aware of all the loved ones you have in spirit. I leave it up to the spirit world to determine who comes through. Oftentimes we do connect with that very spirit person you're aching to hear from but be open and available for all other loved ones as well.

-Prior to connecting please do not share any pieces of information about your loved ones in spirit with me (Becky), I work best with a “blank canvas” and this also helps you to receive a knowing that the evidence that comes through is authentic. To ensure the "blank canvas" idea please confirm the evidence as a "Yes" "No" or "I don't know". But don’t worry, there will be time where you can share, debrief, and ask questions.

-You as the audience play a BIG role in our time together. Having your video feature on is important. It's important to me that I find the right recipient for each spirit. Therefore, everyone (including you) will need to commit to listening, paying attention to the initial pieces of evidence that comes through at the start of each spirit contact, and if you think it's for you, your job is to unmute yourself and share that you have a hunch it's for you.

I get  the honor of connecting the two together.  This connection can only be manifested by the power of love; love is the energy that always connects us.

Olivia and her Mother are dear to my heart and what they are accomplishing together is true change and one that is needed in our Valley. Let’s all support this wonderful cause!

About Olivia’s Fund (from the website)

Vickie Zacher Ortega, a local parent, came to know the limitations in our behavioral health system firsthand when she was getting help for her daughter Olivia. Vickie describes Olivia as adventurous. She was athletic and loved sports, including volleyball and gymnastics, and loved animals. The change in Olivia’s personality happened in 6th grade when she experienced extreme bullying. She started finding notes from classmates in her backpack and locker stating she should kill herself.

The family did everything they could to care for their daughter and met several obstacles. It took a month and a half to get Olivia in to see a counselor due to a lack of local providers. Furthermore, the visits were not covered by her health insurance and they did not qualify for financial assistance, making the out-of-pocket charge of $270/hour impossible to sustain at the frequency of sessions Olivia needed.

Olivia’s pain was too great. She took her life in February 2018, just a few days after her 13th birthday. Grief rippled from her family and throughout our small community when the tragic news spread. The powerlessness felt by so many was quickly followed by many local leaders and organizations wanting to do more.

In December 2019, Vail Health Foundation launched the campaign, It Takes A Valley: Transforming Behavioral Health to raise $100 million for a total investment of $160 million to address the issue over the next decade.

Vickie and her family wanted to create a special fund in Olivia's memory to help other local individuals and families in need obtain access to behavioral health care.

“My hope for Olivia's Fund is that it will help anyone who is struggling, so they can get the treatment that they or a family member desperately needs.”

Olivia’s Fund will offer financial assistance to help pay for a patient’s behavioral health services. The fund will cover anyone in need who lives or works in Eagle County, regardless of their insurance situation, and will be considered a payment of last resort. After six sessions, the provider will discuss alternate and sustainable funding options with the patient.

Olivia’s Fund will cover anyone in need of behavioral health services, regardless of insurance or immigration status. Medicaid clients are not eligible for scholarships, as Medicaid will cover the full cost of behavioral health services. The EVBH therapist directory provides a list of behavioral health clinicians in the Valley who accept Medicaid.  If an applicant has commercial insurance, EVBH will encourage them to work with their behavioral health provider to utilize their insurance plan and other payment sources, such as employee assistance programs, to maximize all available funding sources for treatment.

In my personal journey I spent decades feeling like a victim to my senses outside of the physical 5. When enough became enough I decided to embark on a journey towards leaning into the fear of the unknown. What I discovered was beautiful.
